The first section takes the reader through the events of Maple's life up to age 17. From her first drawing (supplied by author) at age 5 to a police report, school papers, letters, email and more.
The chapter start pages are inspired by the story of rescuing their horses in the middle of the night lit by the full moon.
For the ebook I exported each of the front section pages as separate art files so I could anchor them on the pages.")

The images help in understanding the headers.")
