Gotta say, your boy here is proud of how the art turned out—a lonely, creepy night scene in a small town in the middle of nowhere, with just a hint of riot and terror. My approach centered on capturing warmth and quiet hope, the feeling of something good just about to happen. The yellow brick school stands as both a literal setting and a symbol of growth, framed under the open Montana sky. Every element, from the soft morning light to the placement of the flagpole and cottonwood tree, was chosen to express that sense of grounded optimism.
I wanted the design to feel human and real, so I focused on atmosphere over spectacle. It is a moment of stillness that invites the viewer to pause and see the world as the story’s protagonist learns to.
This project reminded me that great design is not about decoration but emotion, about seeing not just what is in front of us but what it means.")

He enjoys predictable things he can plan for; the dry season, the wet season, the birthing of calves, among other things.
He detests unpredictable events; leopard attacks, droughts, and disease. Unpredictable events make his job difficult, and anxiety-provoking, and can even threaten the lives of his Zebu.")

Imagine Bloodsport x Dracula x Van Helsing in the same universe. When Van Helsing a disgraced, alcoholic karate sensei finds out his ex is being held captive by Dracula he must fight vampires in illegal street fights in L.A.’s abandoned subways to save her.
Part of the story takes place in Las Vegas in case you wonder why there's a Las Vegas sign in the background.

This project is something different from what we typically work on, but still well within my creative range. I love exploring different visual styles, and this one was no exception. After brainstorming with the editor and drawing inspiration from the author’s mood board, I worked to create a cover that followed the brief while adding my own twist.
One of the key elements was giving the cover a muted tone with a watercolor touch. So I limited the color palette but incorporated vibrant accents to evoke a sense of \"awe\" resulting in an almost liminal composition.")
