It was made by generating binary, expanding it to outlines, then selecting areas of this and deleting it to make the impression that the binary is the lit areas of the trees.")
:format(webp)/99designs-contests-attachments/94/94718/attachment_94718252 "In this contest, the clients were experts in Microsoft office 365, Azure and other cloud-based services. the logo is a bar graph made using the same perspective as the office 365 logo, and the abstract style of the azure logo. for the color scheme the client favored designs following the Microsoft coloring so I went with that. In the end it was declined.")

This was done through the use of the simple lighthouse combined with the sans serif text. Lighthouses have very strong associations with sturdiness and pathfinding/direction which would be things that I would want in a watch. Having the \"For the open seas\" text stretched along the bottom in a sans typeface adds the element of adventure to the logo to tie it all together.")
