It features a comprehensive programme of short and feature films from Carinthia (Austria), Friuli Venezia Giulia (Italy), Slovenia and an industry meeting including the film commissions of all three regions. The topic of this year´s festival edition will be GRENZEN: LIMITS & BORDERS. The visual concept should not focus too bluntly on the refugee crisis and Europe´s external borders, but should evoke new thoughts on the ambiguity of the German term “Grenzen”, which means as well “limits” as well as “borders” or “frontiers”.
