機能性高分子コンソーシアム（Functional Polymer Consortium）は、高分子・ソフトマター・プラスチック材料の研究開発を行なっている企業グループ（産業）と、大学等からなる学術研究チーム（学術）とが連携して、大強度陽子加速器施設　物質・生命科学実験施設（J-PARC　MLF）の世界最高クラスの中性子ビームを利用し、機能性高分子材料の開発を加速することを目的に設立された。J-PARC初の産学連携コンソーシアムとして、J-PARCの運営主体である「J-PARCセンター」の協力のもと、活動を進めている組織である。 参考：一般財団法人総合科学研究機構（CROSS）プレスリリース ...

・高分子(長くて柔らかい分子)がイメージ出来るデザインやイラスト。 ・Design that can image long and soft ... ・明るい色使い。 ・Bright ... ・コンソーシアム名「Functional Polymer Consortium」又は略称である「FPC」を分かりやすく入れる。 ・Use "Functional Polymer Consortium" or "FPC". ・主にプレゼンテーション資料のロゴとして用いられることが想定されるので、2cm～...cm程度の大きさに映えるデザイン。 ・Mainly used as a logo for presentation ... ・完全にオリジナルデザインであること。 ・Be completely original design． ・民間企業、大学、大型研究施設などいろいろな組織の人が集まり、社会を豊かにするため協業しイノベーションを創出しているイメージを表現してほしい。 ・世界最先端の大型研究施設で、別々の組織の人が仲良く一緒に働いている空間をイメージ。 ・研究開発している製品は、柔らかい材料で、ソフトマター、高分子、プラスチックと言われる材料からできている。 ・J-PARC MLF：中性子ビームを使って材料中のミクロな構造を可視化するための施設（参考：J-PARC MLFパンフレット添付）
