What is the ƒome Collective? "Fome" is an Ewe word from Ghana, meaning "family." At Fome Collective, we live by this concept. We're more than just collaborators; we're a family united by a shared vision and a deep commitment to our communities. Our collective consists of diverse members—teachers, activists, facilitators—each bringing unique skills and experiences. Together, we aim to create spaces for learning, healing, and transformation. Our mission is to foster a community where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued. We extend an open invitation to LGBT+ individuals, Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), people of all ages, and those from diverse backgrounds to join the wider ƒome Collective. We believe that our diversity is our strength, and by coming together, we can drive meaningful change. Fome Collective is a family that supports, learns from, and grows with one another. We welcome you to bring your unique perspective to our efforts and become part of something impactful. Our Vision At Fome Collective, our vision is to build an inclusive community where people from all walks of life can connect, share knowledge, and inspire change. Guided by the spirit of "fome," or "family," we strive to create a sense of belonging and mutual respect, recognizing that diversity is our greatest asset. We imagine a world where barriers are dismantled, allowing individuals—regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, age, or background—to contribute their voices and talents.
