English Briefing: The Deggendorf referee group is a local association of football referees that celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2023. The referees ensure that the rules of the game are respected on the football pitches and, as impartial referees, are an indispensable part of the sport. The aim of the design competition is to create an anniversary logo for the year 2023 that will be used on various print and digital media. The enclosed coat of arms of our group should be part of the anniversary logo, at least in parts, and it should also be clear that this is the 100th anniversary of the group. The group coat of arms is strongly based on the coat of arms of the district of Deggendorf. The white and blue diamond pattern symbolises the Free State of Bavaria. The double eagle recalls the heraldic figure of one of the most important landlords. The yellow colour symbolises the rich agriculture. The blue river symbolises the location on the Danube and Isar. The green triple mount is both the heraldic figure of the second major landlord and the symbol of the Bavarian Forest. The city of Deggendorf is often referred to as the gateway to the Bavarian Forest. The anniversary coat of arms to be designed is to be used exclusively in the year 2023 and should clearly differ in structure and form from the group coat of arms ("club logo"). Nevertheless, some elements of the attached group coat of arms should also be found in the anniversary logo, but preferably in a slightly modified or abstract form. It is not necessary that all elements of the group coat of arms also find their way into the anniversary logo. It would be important that the Bavarian Forest and the river are included. In addition, the logo should clearly show that this is a special anniversary. Deutsches Briefing: Die Schiedsrichtergruppe Deggendorf ist eine lokale Vereinigung aus Fußballschiedsrichtern, die im Jahr 2023 ihr 100-Jähriges Bestehen feiert. Die Schiedsrichter sorgen auf den Fußballplätzen für die Einhaltung der Spielregeln und sind als Unparteiische unverzichtbarer Bestandteil des Sports. Ziel des Design-Wettbewerbs ist die Gestaltung eines Jubiläumslogos für das Jahr 2023, das auf verschiedenen Print- und digitalen Medien Anwendung finden wird. Das beigefügte Gruppenwappen sollte zumindest in Teilen Bestandteil des Jubiläumslogos sein, außerdem sollte deutlich werden, dass es sich um das 100-Jährige der Gruppe handelt. Das Gruppenwappen richtet sich stark am Wappen des Landkreises Deggendorf aus. Das weiß-blaue Rautenmuster symbolisiert den Freistaat Bayern. Der Doppeladler erinnert an die Wappenfigur eines der wichtigsten Grundherren. Die gelbe Farbe symbolisiert den reichhaltigen Ackerbau. Der blaue Fluss symbolisiert die Lage an Donau und Isar. Der grüne Dreiberg ist sowohl die Wappenfigur des zweiten großen Grundherren als auch Symbol für den Bayerischen Wald. Die Stadt Deggendorf wird häufig auch als Tor zum Bayerischen Wald bezeichnet. Das zu gestaltende Jubliäumswappen soll ausschließlich im Jahr 2023 verwendet werden und sich in Struktur und Form deutlich vom Gruppenwappen ("Vereinslogo") abheben. Trotzdem sollen sich einige Elemente des beigefügten Gruppenwappens auch im Jubiläumslogo wiederfinden, sehr gerne aber in leicht abgeänderter oder abstrakter Form. Es ist nicht notwendig, dass alle Bestandteile des Gruppenwappens auch im Jubiläumslogo Einzug finden. Wichtig wäre, dass der Bayerische Wald und der Fluss enthalten sind. Außerdem soll durch das Logo sofort erkennbar sein, dass es sich um ein besonderes Jubiläum handelt.

English briefing: Although the attached coat of arms looks very traditional, we are hoping for an abstract and modern interpretation of our club logo. It should be a combination of text and picture element(s). The basic colour "yellow" of the group coat of arms can, but does not have to, become part of the anniversary logo. The lettering "Schiedsrichtergruppe Deggendorf" must be included in the anniversary logo. Whether the anniversary logo "only" contains the slogan "100 Jahre" ("100 years" in german) and/or also the years 1923-2023 is up to the designer. The font should be as straight as possible and decorated with little to no flourishes. Deutsche Hinweise: Obwohl das beigefügte Gruppenwappen sehr traditionell aussieht, erhoffen wir uns eine abstrakte und moderen Interpretation unseres Vereinslogos. Es sollte sich dabei um eine Kombination aus Text und Bildelement(en) handeln. Die Grundfarbe "gelb" des Gruppenwappens kann sehr gerne, muss aber nicht, auch Bestandteil des Jubiläumslogos werden. Der Schriftzug "Schiedsrichtergruppe Deggendorf" muss im Jubiläumslogo enthalten sein. Ob das Jubiläumslogo "nur" den Slogan "100 Jahre" enthält und/oder auch die Jahreszahlen 1923-2023, bleibt dem Designer überlassen. Die Schrift sollte möglichst geradlinig und mit wenig bis keinen Schnörkeln verziert sein.
