VoltAmpère: High Voltage Engineering Consultancy Seeking Professional Logo

We need a logo design for a new company called VoltAmpère. We are an electrical engineering consultancy that provides testing and commissioning services to high voltage substations in the Netherlands. The logo will be used in branding (business cards/documents, websites, clothing, etc.) Our target audience includes: large national and international energy companies, subcontractors in the energy field, electrical engineers, companies involved in high voltage systems and networks. The design should communicate professionalism to the target audience. A design that can also communicate a relationship to the energy (electrical engineering/high voltage) field is preferred.

Update: We've been seeing a lot of interesting designs involving lightning bolts/high voltage warning symbols, but we would like to see some alternative design options involving other high voltage components (i.e. pylons, high tension wires, transformers, etc.) Thanks to everyone who has submitted so far!
