I help people and organizations be more effective at changing the world and feel happier and more fulfilled while they do it. My target audience: people and organizations that want their existence to change the world. My products: Soul-searching retreats, coaching sessions for individuals, and strategic planning consulting services for organizations My industry: the intersection of personal transformation and social entrepreneurship/social change

This logo is going to be the foundation of an entirely new brand I'm building. Through this contest, I not only looking for a logo, but for a designer who can provide the creative vision, and with whom I can work on key projects in the future (websites, information products, etc.). ______ More important information about this brand: Key brand words: Smart. Strategic. Soulful. Inspired. Practical. Empowered. Proactive. Joyful. Clarity. Focus. Connection. Vigor. Spiritual. _______ Key themes/ideas (meaning of the brand): Marriage of the practical/actionable with the spiritual/universal. Marriage of opposites: Fire + water Tangible + intangible Tactical/local + Big picture/global worldview Action + Reflection Responsibility + Empathy/compassion Results (the end product) + process (the how) Life should be about action, service, doing + life should be about loving, enjoying, being ________ Why the name Alchemí? The name “Alchemí” is a play off the word “alchemy” and the Spanish word “mí” (“me”). The philosophy is that change or transformation (making ourselves and the world better) starts with each of us, the individual, and by connecting to our true selves, and becoming our best selves, we are able to find out greatest and highest use, our way to serve the world—which will not only make the world a better place because we have lived, but will give us joy and fulfillment. It is the idea of soulful change: change that starts on a personal level, but then radiates or ripples out to the world. That starts within an organization but grows outward. The realization of potential, becoming your best and highest self, and using that self to create a more beautiful world to live in. If you've ever read Paolo Coelho's The Alchemist, you will know what I mean.
