Easy Welcome Köln

“Easy Welcome Köln - Willkommenskultur in Beuteln” is an initiative founded and centered in Cologne and dedicates itself to the collection, packaging, sorting and distribution of both private and corporate donations to refugees arriving in Germany, specifically, in Cologne. By promoting the value of “Welcome” and functioning as an orientation point for refugees seeking aid during the process of asylum, the initiative is interested in the participation of as many volunteers as possible as well as the gathering of as many donations as possible. The initiative was able to gather 1,100 followers on Facebook within a time span of less than a month. These followers were successfully translated into donors, collectively donating a vast amount of cosmetic products (toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant etc.), so that the initiators and helpers recruited through social media were able to pack 1000 “Kulturbeutel” (“beauty-cases”). These were successfully distributed to refugees arriving at the so-called “Drehscheibe” in Cologne, as well as other camps. Donors are encouraged to deposit their donation at selected points, while the initiators themselves coordinate the distribution and remaining work involved with the donation process. Through the use of Facebook and social media, the initiators redefine methods of coordinating voluntary work, establishing direct contact between donors and those accepting the donation. A possible corporate identity needs to reflect both the ideal of “Being Welcome” and the specific component of hygiene products as the desired donation. A fusion of these elements with a modern and friendly typography is the wish of the initiators. The Logo should work in both color and black and white. A modern, simple nature is requested. The typography should read: “Easy-Welcome Köln”, as a possible subtitle: “Willkommenskultur in Beuteln”. The Logo will be used on business cards, letterheads and online. Muted colours should be the Basis of the Logo completed by a nice powerful colour. We would appreciate a Mix of colours. For example a nice Grey / Antrazit with a berry colour or petrol.

I'd like to explore the following colors: Please use pastel shades and not Baby Blue or Baby pink. We would appreciate a Mix of colours. For example a nice Grey / Antrazit / Black / Dark Brown with a berry colour or blue/petrol/smaragd.

We would love to see Logo Ideas with symbols which are linked with our work. Some brainstorming ideas: Beautycases, Zippers, People, Earth, Germany, Love, Hands, Welcome, Hygienc Products... We appreciate the mix of muted colours with highlights in it. Please design a Symbol and use The name easy Welcome köln and don't use the abbreviation EWK :) A nice but little reserved symbol simbiosis would be great. Something that is able to be a recognition value.
