Contemporary modern logo for αtec: with Alpha symbol and strong typography

We are a medical device company that sells spinal implant hardware to distributors and doctors. Our customers are well educated and sophisticated.

We need a logo that starts with an alpha "α" not the letter "a" or capitol "A" followed the three letters "tec". This could become a stand alone symbol so the more iconic the better. We want to use a very dark blue such as PMS 289 and a very bright neon green such as PMS 375. We want to use a sans serif font. We would like a very creative, modern interpretation of the alpha symbol while still reading as an alpha symbol. It is also a bonus if the logo ties into the imagery of a spine or vertebral body. Plus the logo will need to work in 1 color as well such as being stamped into metal.
