Nã Pola Ki'i is 'Olelo Hawai'i (Hawaiian Language) for "Banana-Blossom Pictures" Also, while this text block shows the line over the a in Nã as a squiggly line, it truly should be a flat bar above the ... The banana flower, to me, is something unexpected and often overlooked as the average person thinks on bananas or even harvests their ... As a filmmaker and artist I feel I want to use my tools and trade to highlight these qualities in the world around ... To find the unexpected ... To bring overlooked and suppressed issues into ...
