A particular focus is on supporting customers in selecting basic "building blocks" (the digital building blocks) for digitization. The resulting catalog of suitable digital building blocks includes measures and processes as well as software products, tools and cloud solutions. Based on this selection, Digitalbaustein GmbH then develops (together with the customer) a process model for the introduction and implementation of these digital building blocks and subsequently assists with their implementation. Analyse und Optimierung von Unternehmensprozessen), IT-Infrastruktur und Cloud, auch die Konzeption und den Aufbau von IT-Systemen sowie IT-Infrastruktur für die Kunden bis hin zur individuellen Softwareentwicklung (von Desktop-Anwendungen in C++ bis hin zu Cloud-basierten Web-Applikationen in Javascript/Typescript und entsprechenden Backends). Ein besonderer Fokus liegt dabei auf der Unterstützung der Kunden bei der Auswahl grundlegender "Bausteine" (den Digitalbausteinen) für die Digitalisierung. Der dadurch gewonnene Katalog an geeigneten Digitalbausteinen umfasst dabei sowohl Maßnahmen und Prozesse, sowie Softwareprodukte, Tools und Cloud-Lösungen. Auf Basis dieser Auswahl entwickelt die Digitalbaustein GmbH dann (gemeinsam mit dem Kunden) ein Vorgehensmodell zur Einführung und Umsetzung dieser Digitalbausteine und hilft im Anschluss daran bei der Umsetzung. Das Angebot ist somit ähnlich dem eines Systemhauses mit Spezialisierung auf den Bereich Digitalisierung.
