Mädchen is a book about a young woman who escapes the surrogate family who abused her for years. A story about unconditional love and irreversible betrayal. Other things that might be inspirational: The main character is a young woman in her early twenties. She's a blond with medium longhair, one might say too skinny. She is rather shy and wishes to remain unseen (wears hoodies and such). She has been forced to work a prostitute at an early age. She has a slight obsession for Mary Shelley's Frankenstein and she believes she might have been dead and brought back to life in here youth. A large part of the story is situated in Vienna, Sophia, a Roma village in Bulgaria and the Calais 'jungle'.

Mädchen is written for Dutch people with an interest for current developments on Europe concerning, migration, politics and modern history, basicly: people who read newspapers. It is targeted for people in their thirties and forties, probably parents, for the larger part woman.

Paperback

The book size will be 135mm × 210mm. The book is 400 pages. It will be a paperback. I've included some files: the editor logo as an eps, the first few pages to give an impression, some book covers I like.
