Great Work by Tendai.
I loved his out of the box thinking and proposing a new approach to navigation, design and a consistent UX.
And he was willing to do more that making images, by preparing basic HTML and CSS, so we can start building our website right away.

Designer followed directions well and produced a sleek, modern, clean design. Very impressed with his work.
How theo1T started their web page design journey
Who are you known as?
Engage User Group
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a non-profit organization (with limited means), and are a User Group focusing on IBM software. We organize a yearly 2 days event.
Our conferences are free for all attendees, and we have over 80 sessions. We have sponsors paying for the venue and catering expenses.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
We need to stick to the logo, and I prefer using the orange 'cogs' in our logo as the focus color. We need a clear navigation.
As I will persnonally implement the design we select, I prefer the use of Bootstrap (3 or 4), and of course, the website should be responsive.
A catchy homepage, with a headline (like the announcement of our upcoming event), and clear instructions (buttons?) on how to register as an attendee, speaker and sponsor.Attendees need to be able to quickly find all details (speakers, sponsors, sessions, venue, hotels,...)
A second page would be the common template for the 'information' we need to share (hotels, venue, travel, ...)
Maybe some ideas for a 'form' too, where people can register.
What to avoid
No real limitation, allthough I'm not a fan of 1-page websites.
You should be able to find images in the current website: logo, venue, speakers, sponsors, venus. Extra images of the upcoming venue can be found by googling as well.

I prefer the imqages used in png, and a working html/css design included!
