No, this is a new website
www.tiffany.com - simple and sophisticated design. Product display is uncluttered, and does not use standard grid pattern. Few items fall below the fold, so almost everything is visible without scrolling down. www.godiva.com - Images and layout are clean, simple and attractive. Like that the home page’s main image is static and can be viewed on iPad, etc. Font and colors make text easy to read. www.moretimemoms.com - organized, clean and simple. Has several different sections, each with different topics - but does not appear crowded - In contrast to competitors such as theknot.com and theweddingoutlet.com, the HCT home page should not be crowded and full of products. HopeChest & Trousseau should convey a little more sophistication, luxury and formality.
Seeking design for the Home Page HCT is primarily geared toward weddings, with smaller anniversary section, and small section for other romantic occasions). Home Page should have the following attributes: - Sophisticated, uncluttered design - Luxurious and formal, but still friendly and approachable. - Clear and easy to read - Don't want to rely too much on photos. Instead make the site visually interesting and appealing from the use of color, typography, and static images/icons. Home page does not need to be full of products, but should let the customer know the site offers items primarily for weddings (as well as anniversaries, plus general romantic gifts). Home Page should include: - logo - standard search, about us, contact us, checkout, etc. - information about HCT - Links to Wedding products/services/information, and Anniversary products/services/information (note: products are sortable by price, popularity, product category and color.) - 1-4 Featured products - Hot new trends - Decorating Ideas - Planning tips, with downloadable planning checklist. - Upcoming Events (they are sortable by location) - Announcements such as sales, store opening, etc. - VIP Rewards Program information and link - Optional registration/log-in for customers (with special privileges for wedding consultants)
The winning designer should also provide list of specific colors and fonts used. Two logo options are provided, in blue/silver and black/silver. I'm leaning toward the blue/silver, but I am open to a design with the black/silver. Primary target audience: • Women, ages 20-50, engaged and planning a wedding ceremony • Professional wedding consultants who help their clients plan the perfect wedding • Fiancé, parents, and friends of the bride Secondary audience: • Women, ages 20-50, who are married and celebrating an anniversary • Women or men looking for the perfect gift for their spouse to express love or romance
