We want to design 2 pages - home page and a product page. the winner will get to work with us on further pages - privately. 1. home page - The homepage will hold the following: - A dedicated place to show all the Brands which we sell batteries for: Acer, Apple, Asus, Dell, Gateway, HP - Compaq, Fujitsu -siemens, IBM - Lenovo, Samsung, Sony, Toshiba - A place to put text which describes our company and services. - Website logo and slogan. - a large and dominant search box to search for our batteries, this box will be smaller on other website pages. the home page should contain the following e-commerce elements: - phone number, my account / my cart / checkout / log in. - A dedicated place for e-commerce slogans: 100% money back guarantee, 1 year warranty, free shipping/ free shipping over XX$. (Medium sized logo and a few lines of describing text for each one of the above slogans). - A progress bar which will indicate on the current purchasing stage. for example: 1. choose your brand. 2. choose your model. 3. finalize you purchase. this bar should also be dominant, clear and beautiful. - Website menu - for example: Home | Faq's | Blog | Contact us etc... - Footer - which will include a place to show accepted payment methods, some content links, a place to put mailing/contacting/address information. Product Page Laptop batteries may be available in different product versions. The structure of the product page will change according to different product versions. For example - if you can choose the same battery with 6 or 9 cells the product page will show 2 products (one for the 6 cells version and the 2nd for the 9 cells version). if the battery only comes with 1 cell option, the product page will show only it (This page will have 3 items tops). - Find a solution to present all the products in an orderly manner. - Find a solution to incorporate the home page e-commerce slogans and small text in the product page. - Each product should show the following: - battery picture, - battery specifications: Voltage, Capacity, Type, weight, number of cells and color - color option should be chosen by clicking on a little square which shows the color, if there is more than one color option it will show them all in separate small squares for the customer to choose - drop down for choosing quantity. - Large big bold Buy Now button :) - a place to put describing text for the product. - Each product page should have a dedicated place for a review section. Writing a review will take place on another page. the review is per page and not per the number of products in a page.
What to avoid
1. Conversion is most important - do not overload the page with useless text/slogans/buttons. the website should have a professional and clean user experience. 2. the theme of the website should not be dark.3. no red action buttons. 3. We know our market competitors, and we would easily identify a copied website design. Copied designs will definitely not win!
The website should look stylish, new, clean and simple.
