See Requirements Section for Details
We are an IT Staff Recruiting company called Maxsys Solutions located in Dallas Tx. Our current website is http://maxsyssolutions.com. Our primary job is located qualified IT technical personnel for outstanding job requirements for our clients. Our clients are any company that has open IT oriented job positions that need to be filled. The culture and personality we are trying to convey with this web redesign is one of HELPFULNESS, HARD WORK, and INTEGRITY in assisting job seekers find the right career.
We will target 2 different audiences. The FIRST priority audience we are targeting are JOB SEEKERS. They are the lifeblood in our industry. Without them, we don't exist. They are looking for the best position in their career and turn to us (via our website) to seek assistance. Again...They are our PRIMARY audience.
The second priority audience we are targeting are OUR CLIENTS. They give us their detailed open job descriptions that need filling and we work our hardest to match them with the most qualified candidate.
We currently have a functional and attractive (in our opinion) website at http://maxsyssolutions.com. However we are in need of an update and fresh new look to attract the audiences (as mentioned above). As the project title indicates...we want a SIMPLE YET EFFECTIVE web design that is clean, concise and to the point.
We would like minimal use of colors but NOT monotone. It should make good use of gradients and shading of 2 or 3 primary colors to give the illusion of more colors. We like blue's, black, gray, and other basic popular colors on the web.
One thing we do not like about the current site is the use of boxes and lines defining all module positions in the site. We would like a more open / free-flowing effect of positions which are not bounded specifically by lines.
We require the Hompage to be designed for the new site. This should consist of both a header & footer, left-hand content column and main text area that itself is 2 columns. Use a well-balanced amount of photo stock images, text, and callouts. We desire a horizontal menu list of the same options as in our current site and like the "tab" effect of the menu in our current site (but it is not required to keep it if it clashes too much with the new design).
Please use our current logo in the new design, but we want to re-work the tagline of "IT STAFFING PROFESSIONALS" so that it is not so big in the header. Keep the tagline but make it not so obtrusive...be creative here. Also integrate our social media icons (FB, Twitter, Linkedin) so that they are visible above the fold on the homepage. Our preference is to have them somewhere in the header so that they are visible on all pages within the site.
We specialize in Microsoft dotNet, SQL Server, and Project Management positions so any graphics related to these would be preferred as callouts within the site.
Lastly we would like to present a concise picture of the company in a single homepage with minimal scrolling. Only the footer should not be visible without scrolling (standard 1024 x 768 screen res) would be our preference here.

Other sites we have considered but are not as preferred as the one above are:
