McKenna got their new web page design by running a design contest:
Hompage Design for Financial Consultancy Website

I'm looking to get a homepage design for a financial consultancy. The only collateral to base the design on is a blue logo which I have linked to in the main description. The design must be clean and professional looking.
What's your vision?
Tagline: n/a Desired Color Scheme: Blue and White mainly. Open to other colours if they fit. Desired Style: The design must be clean and professional. See links in the description for a better idea of what I have in mind. Accepted File Formats: PSD I am looking to get a Homepage design for a Financial Consultant. The only collateral that he currently has is this logo which I recently got re-drawn right here on Sitepoint. Find the link to the logo here: http://pmck.net/sequoia/sequoia_logo.png Obviously, this will form the basis of the design in terms of colour and style, and needs to be incorporated seemlessly into the design. The homepage should be clean and professional looking with a financial theme, but nothing too cheesy (like massive dollar signs everywhere or currency collages :P). As for the actual content on the homepage, the navigation on the site will simply be: Home, About Us, Articles and Contact Us. I would like an introductory piece of text, a 'Latest Articles' section and a a 'Latest News' section on the homepage. The news and articles can just list the latest 3 or 4 items. The contact details should also appear somewhere on the homepage, maybe in the footer, but I'll leave that up to you. I looked around for designs that I feel are relevant and match the style I'm going for. I came across the following sites that have the clean yet professional look that I have in mind: http://www.cravattificio.com/en/index.php http://www.challies.com/ http://vesess.com/ http://www.basilspence.org.uk/
