I am a 20 year old manhattan based old technology services company specializing in network and server installations and management, backup and disaster recovery services, cloud hosting, data security, VPNs, voice and desktop support for Mac and Windows platforms.
I want a very clear and crisp smart website without clutter. My audience cares about me being a local provider, our long history, tech partner affiliations, past clients, accessibility serving their industry, 24/7 day a week access and emergency response. I am not serving the tech community. It has more to do with trust. I want a page for Past and Present Clients. My logo is an orange fox with blue lettering. I really have no idea exactly what I want.
. I't just 5 pages. Landing page ( something that grabs your attention) short directory with links of the other pages. About, References/past clients by industry page, Managed Services - one page devoted to network/server/desktop management then another for backup/disaster recovery, cloud services,, Security/VPNs, About/Contact.
What to avoid
Clutter, too many picture of tech gear. Wires, connectors, servers. I want images of people doing business and getting things done. I am not teaching technology in this. I don't want anything confusing.
Computer consulting websites are so hack these days. I don't want you typical site which alienates the end user i tench speak and images of computer equipment. I really like images of happy offices worker in front of working technology.
