How khaullen started their web page design journey
Pong Pro is a combo iPhone/Facebook app that allows users to track and compare their performance in the popular college drinking game Beer Pong. Players use the iPhone app to record the games they play with their friends, then a transcript of the game is uploaded to our server and statistics are generated to rank players and their friends. These statistics are displayed in leaderboards through the Facebook app as well as on the iPhone client.

The market for this app is competitive beer pong players. People in this category are generally American males between the ages of 20 - 30 who enjoy competition and heavy drinking. Check out http://www.bpong.com/ to see more of the core demographic.
I'm looking for a design for the Facebook app we've created to allow players to compare statistics with their friends. The layout of the pages is already in place, so we need a design that works within that framework. The design should be geared towards the main page, but it will also be repurposed for the other pages within the app.
The design and styles used should emphasize the competitive nature of the app. The primary colors are red, black, grey, and white. A logo has already been designed and is provided below. The final product should be a layered PSD file in RGB format.
Colors and styles should be bold and masculine, but also sleek, simple and crisp. The design should appear serious in nature and should appeal to the ESPN-watching crowd.
The main page has two columns and a header. The header contains the Pong Pro logo, two buttons, and a search box. The left column displays the user's Facebook thumbnail, summary statistics, and three buttons. The right column displays some links at the top, a rotating collection of graphs, and 3 leaderboards containing buttons, lists, and Facebook thumbnails.
This is the website that the design will be applied to. There is no existing design.
Stylistically, I like http://espn.go.com/ and http://mlb.mlb.com/index.jsp, but they're both far too cluttered for my taste. Feel free to experiment within these requirements, I'm open to innovative looks as long as it's masculine and uses predominantly the colors listed in the Requirements section.
