We want a clean and inviting look. Professionalism with a bit of fun is very important to us and our customers. Spend some real time on User Experience above Usability and how things look.
We’d like to invite people to read and view our projects and give inviting “entrances” to our 4 key services we provide.
Some of our customers should be visible giving a review
We want to show (off) a few of our best projects
Just like beardbrand.com we’d like to show (off) our “Milestones”. When and how we started.
- When we launched
- When we moved to a bigger premise
- When we created our first custom build brake calipers
- Etc. etc.
2. Informational page
This is a page where we explain what we do. How an engine works or how tuning works. It's an informational page where we use images and text to give in depth knowledge about cars.
Continue reading other pages is important here. We also want to give the option for "personal advice" so we can help them with a decision. Talk to them. Etc.
3. Chip tuning / projects overview page
We have thousands of chip tuning options divided in all the car brands, models, year and engine types.
We have a few hundred projects where we show (off) what we've done to what cars.
We can show similar information on this template. For both the tuning and the projects.
People need to be able to search for make, model, what year and engine type.
Below that selection on the overview page we can show some of our (recent) projects or the most used chip tuning options.
Below that we want room for (SEO) text about chip tuning in general. When a brand is selected (which is still an overview page) we want to be able to show a couple of chip tuning options or projects about that brand. Below that we want room for text again for information about the brand. And so on and so fort for the model, year and engine type.
4. Chip tuning detail page
We like this page: https://www.atm-chiptuning.com/chip…11pk-4345/
We have more tuning stages than most other companies. On some models we have Stage 1, stage 2, stage 3 and stage 4. We need tabs for all these stages.
The different tuning stages all have effect on horse power (PK) and torque (NM). These need to be shown very prominently. The Horse power and torque difference can be easily compared per stage.
There are other differences between the tuning stages which can't really be compared but still need to be shown. Like a turbo upgrade, enhanced ECU (computer chip), downpipe (part of the exhaust), etc. Ideally we'd like some icons for that.
We also advertise our prices. So there needs to be room to show a price which is not in their face. Prices range from xxx to xx.xxx.
Most important (for us) of course is the fact that they need to contact us. Either a call me back option, or a "I WANT THIS NOW" button. Think of something nice :)
5. Project detail page
This is a page where we show a lot of pictures on the project. So that part should be prominently visible as well as plenty of room to show (in a list form) what we did to the car and also some room to add a "story" about what we did.
Here too, it's important for us to show a before and after. How many Horse Power / Torque before. And how much after?
And lastly: we want a prominent part of the page to contact us.
We have a new logo we'd like to incorporate on our website. Our current logo is OK'ish (Our name). Have a look at how we can use them both or clean up our current logo a bit.
