We are looking for beautiful designs for a career development website, particularly the resume editor. Please refer to the design brief for details.
Desired Color Scheme:
aqua/metalic
Desired Style:
combination of iTunes on iPhone and Gmail Settings
Accepted File Formats:
Standard Web Formats (.jpg, .gif or .png); Layered Formats (.psd or .tiff)
[Functionality]
The key component of the website is a resume editor.
The resume editor has so far 4 key sections: Contact Information, Preferences, Education and Work Experience
Please refer to the screen shots of current coded pages
[Style]
The goals we are striving for are clear, clean and elegant.
1. We really like the button of the music program on iPhone/iPod Touch. The semi-transparent aqua/metalic look gives it a very clean feel.
2. The interface looks almost minimalistic, yet it contains all the controls because it hides the less-relevant/less-contextual controls using navigation buttons.
3. Another important thing to keep in mind is that this is a practical application that we are trying to add an artistic touch to. In terms of page layout, we like the layout used in GMail. In particular, we want the key component like the resume editor to take up the center area and have the most relevant things such as Resume, Settings, Account at the left column, sort of where GMail places Compose Mail, Inbox, Starred, Chats, etc.
4. No heavy graphics please. We are not planning of using Flash, but we use Ajax extensively. Think of applications like GMail or the profile editor of Facebook.
[Additional Requirements]
The design must contain a page with Contact Info and a page with Education.
