It is important that the design works well with the style of the logo. Personally, I think the logo looks the best on a darker background but not too dark. The blue color listed below and slightly darker is okay but I don't want black.
The website itself shouldn't be too dark. We are trying to make artificial intelligence less scary. The issue many companies have is that they think about AI and Machine learning as something extremely complex. We are trying to prove that it's not. It is important that people visiting the site feel comfortable and relaxed about these concepts when they are on our site and that they can trust in our expertise.
One thing that I want to emphasize is that understanding and education are very important concepts in how we work with our customers. So if there are ways to visualize that working with us will increase their understanding that would be very cool. It is also important that they get the impression that we are a fun company to work with and that we are close partners with our customers.
I want the website to look professional but still a little bit playful. Don't try to remake the current one. Create your own design.
The logo is rounded and a little bit fluid so I encourage design where all lines aren't straight.

I encourage the use of concepts related to artificial intelligence, machine learning, and big data. I have seen a lot of robots but would rather like to see things more related data.
Robots are okay but they have been overused.
If you can make the connections to AI and machine learning in clever ways that would be very appreciated.
There are for example methods in machine learning that could be used in the design. It could be based on wordplay or visual similarities. Some algorithms with names that could be fun to include are RandomForest, DecisionTrees, Neural Networks. Algorithms that with visual results that could be fun to include are LogisticRegression, LinearRegression.
Don't focus too much on doing exactly what I describe in my brief. The most important part is the top part about what we want to communicate. You know how to do that better than I do.
Please add a quick walkthrough of your thoughts when posting a design.
