Redesign, logo and coding of a broadband comparison site
What's your vision?
Tagline: Price Comparison. Reviews. Special Offers. Desired Color Scheme: Classy, bright and uncluttered. Desired Style: See description. Clean, fresh, professional looking. No animations. Accepted File Formats: html, css, vector Contest: Redesign, logo and coding of a broadband comparison site. Redesign of http://www.broadbandsuppliers.co.uk with new logo and coded template. 2 comparison tables (a mini one on the home page and a detailed one on another page) need to be designed aswell. )The current home page has a detailed comparison table - which will, after redesign, go to another page. Logo: Clear and distinct, to match the new design. The words "broadband" and "suppliers" need to be differentiated. Under the logo, we need a catch phrase: "Reviews. Comparison. Special Offers" Apart from the home page, another type of page is the retailer details and reviews page like http://www.broadbandsuppliers.co.uk/provider/aol-broadband-isp.html which need redesign. There is a wordpress blog on www.broadbandsuppliers.co.uk/uk-isp which needs to be integrated in design - wordpress template needs modifying accordingly. It is desirable that you could do this, but if I like a design and the winner does not know how to modify wordpress template, I will still pay $500 to the winner. Suggestions: 1. Menu on top and on the left. 2. Maximum 3 colours. Preferences: Reds, greys in the skeleton, brighter colours inside the content. White background for most text and header, text in black, Menus: text/buttons in grey, arial font throughtout. 3. Home page: A mini comparison table, half width. About 3 text boxes. One on the side of the table and 2 at the bottom. I may ask for a couple of buttons in these boxes aswell in these boxes, depending on the design. 4. I prefer rounded edges. 5. Fast loading, not too many images and image sizes to be small. Note: I like the fresh, professional looks. Avoid greens, yellows, pinks or purple. Similiar websites.. www.broadbandchoices.co.uk - closest to the functions, menu items etc like what we will have on our site. (We wouldnt have the images on the top like them (money, digital tv etc) Some more examples of comparison tables: http://www.compare-uk-broadband.com/compare_broadband.php http://www.broadbandgenie.co.uk To get inspiration and some idea about my taste, here are a few nice and professionally done sites: (Just to get the idea, please do not copy any of their images or copyrighted material) 1. www.heathrowairport.com 2. www.vodafone.co.uk 3. www.orange.co.uk Winner may get more work from our company in the UK. Any questions please ask. We may decide to end contest early if someone gets the design spot on. PS: All work needs to be original and exclusive. We will need undertaking in writing from the winner. If the designer does not like to code, layered PSD templates will also be considered (at a reduced prize of $300) Note: I reserve the right to announce a winner anytime if someone gets the design spot on! (Ofcourse, you will all be able to see the winning design)
