Need 2 CSS stylesheets (regular and print) and a modfied version of the attached HTML template for new website. This new website, www.higheredexperts.com, is targeted to web and marketing professionals working in universities and colleges based in the US and Canada.
What's your vision?
Desired Color Scheme: white background, orange & blue (see logo) Desired Style: Professional, fresh, Web2ish and clean. Accepted File Formats: CSS, (X)HTML, GIF, JPEG, PSD (only if necessary for PSD) This new website, www.higheredexperts.com, is targeted to web and marketing professionals working in universities and colleges based in the US and Canada. The main goal of this website is to provide professional development and training to this target audience mainly via fee-based webinars. The website will also offer free news, resources and memberships to a very simple social networking community for people working in adminstrative positions in higher education. LOOK AND FEEL: The logo and the icon were chosen in a design contest launched last week on Sitepoint: http://www.higheredexperts.com/hee_logo.png It should be the base for the visual identity of the new website. The template design has to incorporate the logo, the icon and their colors. Background should be white. The whole design should look professional but fresh. DESIGN REQUIREMENTS: 3-column design (fixed or fluid width -- whatever looks best) Navigation scheme has to be list-based (see HTML template example for ids to use: http://www.higheredexperts.com/hee_template.html ) top navigation: About Webinars Join HEE Network Contact search box 3-level left navigation (will be generated dynamically, include the following to give me an idea of the look) : News Webinars >Speakers - list - bios >Topics >Participants Help login box with username and password fields Upcoming webinar list Breadcrumbs navigation above the main content area Print and Email-this page link and icon at the bottom or the top of the main content area. Footer with credits and contact info (email, phone, address) Original styling required for: H1, H2, H3, H4 tags active, hover, visited links image borders regular content lists navigation lists TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: CSS-based layout - no tables Print-CSS stylesheet should only include logo, page content and footer (no navigation, no print/email link) Should look good in Firefox, IE 6, IE 7 on PC's and Macs Feel free to send me a PM with any questions.
