Stone Art Gallery is an eclectic jewellery studio which is the home to Joye Designs and features other local jewellery artists, gifts and art. The Gallery is located in a trendy, historic part of a Vancouver, BC suburb and is a heritage building itself.
Joye Designs jewellery is stunning, fine art. Gemstones, ammolites, fossils and crystals are used with sterling or gold wire to create designs that almost defy gravity and the imagination. No soldering or glue is used - the wire wrapping technique that she uses is what forms the design. The quality and craftsmanship are outstanding and each piece is one of a kind. Joye Designs personal style is bold and creative with a sophisticated edge and the pendants she creates have size and presence. Earthy class, mature elegance.
Stone Art Gallery and Joye Designs together are very active in the community and are seen as leaders in the local art and fashion community.
Modern, chic elegance should be harmonious with the organic glamour of the stones used in the designs, like a funky, well accessorized Mother Earth! Maturity and understated beauty is the look to achieve.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Joye Designs' current audience runs the gamut, but the overwhelming attention comes from the 35 and over wealthy woman. Joye Designs has introduced a finer line of jewellery which features chandelier earrings, bangle bracelets, long layered chains and crystal pendants and this line is attracting a younger audience, from 25 and up.
The jewellery has attracted the eye of Indian cooking sensation Bal Arneson and a growing list of local celebs looking for unique and custom jewellery.
The rebranding is to help extend Joye Designs' reach out of the Burbs and further into Vancouver and world wide cosmopolitan markets. A new website will be launched soon, which features new photography and an updated attitude to suit the evolved jewellery designs. View the still developing site using the link below to see the new photography. http://joyedesigns1.jimdo.com/
Two-sided card with larger focus on Joye Designs.
- Could explore one side devoted to Joye Designs, the other to the Gallery.
- Would like to see a black biz card version but am open to many different versions and configurations
-How about rounded corners?
-Creating a vine pattern or scroll pattern using the ammolite or stylized version?
Plan to print on quality Matte paper and apply spot varnish/uv coating to part and/or parts of the card ie: logo, graphic ammolite
Attached is the logo to use in whatever fashion you see fit as the fabulous graphic designer that you are!
The font is Snell Roundhand; the D is a modified upper case Snell character.
I've included 3 shots of the jewellery for you to see and included an example of the uv spot I would like to treat the logo with.
