A winner was selected from 42 designs submitted by 19 freelance designers.
This is an opportunity to create a very cool business card!
Cards will be printed on either a clear (see-through) or frosted (semi-clear) plastic... your choice, to suit your design. This will allow for another degree of freedom in your design!
Desired Color Scheme:
Darker shades preferred
Desired Style:
Web 2.0 style, reflective, gradient overlays, etc.
While I prefer darker shades generally, it is acceptable to use one bright/colorful element to help make the card stand out.
Accepted File Formats:
Layered Photoshop
The name of the company is "Blue Sky Trading, LLC". You may choose to drop the LLC in the main "logo", but the full company name (with LLC) needs to be on the card somewhere.
The name means "dealing with anything you can imagine" (blue sky = imagination, trading = dealing). The slogan is "bringing imagination to reality", although you don't need to incorporate that into the design.
I'd like a Web 2.0 style card. Reflective, shades, darker-colors.
The unique aspect of the design (the thing that should catch the eye) is that I'll be printing this on clear or semi-clear plastic.

Example of frosted plastic cards: http://www.alltimeprint.com/pvc1/pvc_frost.php
Your design should have something eye-catching that will make use of these transparent or semi-transparent areas. When submitting your entry, please designate a color to be the transparency. That way I can immediately see how you are making use of see-through elements.
SPECIAL NOTE: My name is very short (xxx xx), so the design must not look weird with a short name.
