Hessbc got their new product label by running a design contest:
Create the next product label for Ella Peach Candle Company

We sell artisan crafted hand poured all natural candles. We would like to get into the botanical industry as well in the future.
What's your vision?
We want a unique logo as well as a universal label design for our candles. Something that we can put on the candles as well as boxes in the future. To keep costs down I would like something that can be used on a variety of candles by simply having the color changed or adding the scent label in a certain area (see http://www.archipelago-usa.com/CategoryDetail.aspx?CategoryName=Signature+Soy+Candles3). I really like the style of Archipelago candles. Please check out all the lines at http://www.archipelago-usa.com/CategoryList2.aspx?CategoryName=Candles. I want something very simple, sophisticated and unique. The name of our company is "Ella Peach" so I would like a very distinct "peach" image that will be recognizable even by itself (like the Apple Inc. apple). We like the look of old Victorian southern style but would like some modern options as well. We also like http://www.ecoya.com.au/buy-online/candles/. As for the peach logo it would be great to incorporate a flame above the peach in place of the leaf. Just a thought...
The label chosen could be in for a lot more design work as we expand our company. Any other input regarding packaging would be helpful. We were thinking of doing some labels in stamped pewter as well. http://www.pewterlabels.com/en/index.html
