Community & Non-Profit
CUTA is the collective voice of public transit in Canada. Our mission is to strengthen public transit's contribution to the quality of life, environment, health, mobility and economic development of Canadian communities, and to help members fulfill their mandates. www.cutaactu.ca CUTA's experienced and dedicated staff are transit specialists with broad expertise in issues of transit planning, operations, marketing, technology, training, human resources and policy. Through their network of national and international contacts and their ongoing work on committees and with affiliated organizations, they are authoritative in public transit technical and policy issues. One section of our business is selling training programs to transit systems around the world. For this particular job, we are promoting STRADA, a bus operator selection tool.
What's your vision?
We are going to be exhibiting at a trade show in New Orleans in a few weeks. To draw people into our booth, we have arranged to have a photographer on site to create keepsakes from New Orleans that they will take away. We are going to have feathers and beaded necklaces for them to "dress up". He will take pictures of people on a grey/green background, then his assistant will print them on a 5x7 photo card. The photo will be put into a card-stock folder for people to take home. The photo needs a border which highlights a fun time in New Orleans, and also has our logo and tag line to promote the premiere product that we are selling: STRADA. Branded Tag Line: The Road to Hire Success Possible Text: On the road to Hire Success in N'Awlins! APTA Expo 2011 For photo border artwork, the dimensions need to be 5"x7" @ 300dpi. It should be a .PNG format file with the middle area left blank for inserting the photos I shoot. I would recommend the border area be no more than 1/2 inch from the edge of the 5x7 area, this would mean the effective inside area for the photo would be 4x6. If part of the logo or some text exceeds the 1/2 inch area, that would be fine, it will make that element stand out in the photo if it overlaps the border and the photos. Please include the logo attached.
