Sunshine Gospel Ministries offers a program geared towards local entrepreneurs, known as Sunshine Enterprises Business Leadership Academy (SEBLA). The Academy is an 8 week course designed to get aspiring entrepreneurs up and running quickly with their business.
It covers basic business fundamentals, such as business planning, finance and accounting, and marketing, as well as incorporates the use of business model canvassing --- identifying key partners and key supplier/distributor relationships, value proposition, etc.
SEBLA needs an updated flyer available for printing and distributing to key areas across the communities we serve. Our primary clientele are minorities--African Americans between the ages of 21-50 with low-to-moderate household incomes.
Who we look for:
We look for aspiring and newly-established entrepreneurs (those in startup mode) with potential for high-impact. Through starting and growing businesses in low-income communities, we help creates jobs, mitigate acts of violence, and increase responsible social and civic engagement.
We can provide hex codes or RGD codes, as well as .ase files for color swatches in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. Our essential color palette is in keeping with the tone and color of "sunshine" (sun, clouds, bright orange, yellow, and blue).
We can provide a few font files that we've used for some logos, though there are some we no longer have. Our current website relies heavily on sans serif type fonts in both copy and headers, side navigation, etc. For print materials, we're open to different font styles.
As an inner-city urban ministry, graphics that incorporate urban, metro, city themes are helpful (especially ones that integrate Chicago landmarks and sites). Also, use of graphics that exhibit young urban professionals in a business environment.
Writing copy for the brochure is helpful, though not necessary.
