PCWChristian got their new postcard, flyer or print by running a design contest:
Create a Flyer for a B2B Trade Show

We don't sell PC's and we don't sell them at wholesale. We are a B2B eCommerce company exclusively serving mid-size to large organizations, including universities and government agencies. We sell memory and networking accessories for routers and servers, the types of machines that power the Internet. Similar companies to ours are ProVantage and CDW.
What's your vision?
8 1/2" x 11" flyer for a tradeshow
We want a tradeshow flyer. The tradeshow is the Broker Bin Road Show in Las Vegas, October 1-3. We are an attending merchant. The other attendees are all resellers of computers & tech equipment. We specifically specialize in selling memory for routers and servers, and networking optics for servers and routers. Please review our website http://www.pc-wholesale.com and familiarize yourself with our brand and general unique selling proposition. The only specific is that the content be contained within the top 2/3, with the bottom 1/3 be a perforated tear away. We'll be giving away some prize every day (or maybe multiple times a day). There will be a number in the top 2/3 that matches the number in the bottom 1/3. The idea is we hand these out to folks, they return the bottom with their information and must retain the top in order to win. I've designed a rough mockup of how I'm imagining the bottom of 1/3 will look. The information collected on the bottom is name, company, title, email, and phone. Below that, we have two questions: Are you involved in purchasing for your company? Does your company use 3rd party memory or optics? Below that some kind of "Which brands do you sell?" with a list of logos and direction to either check or circle the brands they sell. I've attached a .zip file with a bunch of logos for the brands we sell - the ones we'd want featured are Cisco, HP, Dell, IBM, Juniper, Netgear and maybe Sun and/or Oracle (Oracle purchased Sun around 5 years ago). The right side of the tear away will have the ticket number, matching the ticket number in the top 2/3. On the top the design is wide open. One feature we must have, however, is we will be offering special pricing for four products. The pricing will be limited to road show attendees and will be valid for 30 days. A part of the flyer dedicated to these products. The idea is to have a picture of the product and then four lines - the product name (manufacturer & part number), our website price (PCW Website), the lowest broker bin price (I've shortened to Lowest BB on the mockup but spelling it out is probably better), and our show pricing (Our Price). The show pricing/our price line will be featured/bold or somehow set aside. In the mockup, these are along the right side, but they can be anywhere. These can be circles or squares or whatever shape or location you think is best. Here are four sample products for reference. When writing in the product name, please use the manufacturer as well (e.g. Netgear AGM-731F): http://www.pc-wholesale.com/agm731f.html http://www.pc-wholesale.com/asa5500-cf-512mb.html http://www.pc-wholesale.com/sfp-10g-sr.html http://www.pc-wholesale.com/500662-b21.html The remainder of the flyer (the content area) should mention the products we sell, Server Memory, Transceivers, and Cisco Memory are our main products. We also sell direct attach and networking Cables, as well as Hard Drives and Processors for servers. None of our products are for PCs. We'd want some call out to the benefits from buying from us - Based in Silicon Valley - We stock over 95% of parts we sell - Memory for All Cisco Hardware - Transceivers from 50+ Brands - Same-day shipping for orders placed by 4pm - Custom labeling for transceivers - Special reseller pricing - Lifetime warranty on all optics and memory I've attached a banner we've prepared for the show, to get a small idea of what other collateral we are using. However, we don't want the focus of the flyer to be exactly the same. Beyond that we are looking for something creative without being cheesy or corny looking.
