AliBoo Farm, Inc.
We are an equine breeding, training and showing organization that specializes in hunter and jumper show horses. A few years ago, as a fun way of presenting our horses to our clients, we made a set of "baseball cards" starring our horses. This year we would like to continue that tradition and make the 2016 edition of our Horse "Baseball Cards" even better!
I have attached several sets of last years cards for your review; please do not make the same thing as we would like an updated look every year for our cards. Please note that we are asking for a template to be made for us as we own several horses that we will be including in our cards. We would like for you to make the overarching design for the 2016 cards and create the template for the cad. Please keep in mind that you will have to design it so that we are able to change the written information (i.e. horse name, horse info, etc) and the picture(s) of the horse that goes on each card (one picture on the front, and one on the back).
That being said, we will need a front and a back to the cards to be designed. For the back, we need to be able to fill in the same "stats" as listed in last years cards, but the look is completely up to you as the designer. For the front, please note that we will only need 1 design, but in 5 different colors; we color coordinate our cards to the type of horse (pink for girls, blue for boys, rainbow for special, green for geldings, and silver for legends). I have attached a few different colors from last years cards so you can see what I am talking about. I know this is technically a request for several different cards, but the reward amount and the fact that these will all be the same (except for color differences and the "back card") should hopefully still make this project enticing.
Also, the cards will need to be made to standard "baseball card" size. That would be 3 1/2 inches to 2 1/2 inches. We found that a bleeding edge frame is the easiest way for the printer to be able to cut the cards; we used a gold edge last year, but if you have any other ideas, please feel free to use them.
Lastly, Also, please be sure to place our AliBoo Horse Head Logo on both the front and back of the card, and on the front lower left the year of this edition (2016).
This is something fun and entertaining we do for our clients (many of which are children). Please be creative and have fun with this project.
Also, please be sure to place our AliBoo Horse Head Logo on both the front and back of the card, and on the front lower left the year of this edition (2016).
Lastly, it is very important that you make it so that the pictures of the horses and the written text can be easily changed by someone (probably me) that only has limited experience in using photoshop or illustrator. Basically, I want to be able to replace the "star horse" of the card so that I can use this as a template; I want to be able to put a picture of each of our horses in the template so that each will have his/her own card..
Please note that while we love last years design, we really want a more professional and stronger look for our cards this year.
Please feel free to send me any questions you might have on the project!
Thank you and Good Luck!
