We are a DotNetNuke module developer. We have 23 existing public modules available at: http://www.interactivewebs.com
A Module is a Feature Snap in Software for the Web Platform DNN.
We are in a process of improving the User Interface (UI) for the modules this project is looking at one of them.
The target audience can vary a lot. For that reason we need a professional and pleasing look. Nothing too outrageous, as the modules have to work an a large number of possible website looks.
Most of our users are people who are computer and internet experts. Most people (although not all) are putting the modules into websites that are using off the shelf template skins.
There are a range of samples skins at http://www.snowcovered.com
We have an existing module that is used for listing Jobs within a company website. It is not expected to be used for external advertising, but more for business that source for employees by listing their own jobs on their own website.
There is a sample of the old version of the module here:
Read the "Brief.txt" file attached. The basics are:
- 5 to 10 samples of each of the 3 screens. We are after 5-10 templates that we can include in the software.
- We would expect the 3 screens to have a similar theme to each other so that they work well for the end user. From original listing - to job details - to apply screen.
- We will award the prize to someone who produces 5-10 unique themes that capture a wide variety of potential uses of this module. This may be:
- An Apple look and feel
- An MS look and feel
- A web 2.0 look and feel
- A simple look and feel
- A artistic look and feel
- A modern computer look and feel
The brief explain how simple this is.
