Community & Non-Profit
Iran180 is a coalition of organizations coming together to demand the government of Iran "do a 180" and stop violating the human rights of its citizens.
What's your vision?
We are looking for a detailed graphic or image that visually captures the women's rights situation in Iran. Our intent is that the winning design be used as proprietary Iran180-branded material to be distributed among our followers and coalition members. Iran180 is hosting a breakfast and panel discussion for International Women's Day on March 8, 2012, and we would like to unveil the winning design to the guests and media in attendance. The theme of our event is, "The Role of Women in the Struggle for Iran's Future: From Quiet Resistance to Digital Activism." Any type image that highlights activism and democracy moving from the streets to the web is especially encouraged. We would like to give designers the ability to develop something that is visually compelling and delivers a strong message on women's rights in Iran to those that see it. Our hope is that the designers will create a clean and positive image that demonstrates the importance of the issue, but inspires people to take action and urges the Iranian regime to change course on its treatment of women. Designs that display gore or extremely graphic images will not be considered. The images we've attached should serve as inspiration rather than constraint, and the designers should feel free to draw from their ideas as well as our suggestions. Women’s rights has been an ongoing concern in Iran since 1979, and there is a wide range of ways to address the issue. We are also open to designs that are related to our brand, Iran180, and that depict a fundamental change for the Iranian regime on women's rights issues. Images that capture the idea of the Iranian regime fundamentally changing its behavior on the women's rights issue is highly encouraged. The winner of the contest could potentially be looked on to create more Iran180-branded materials in the future. Best of luck and thank you!
We hope to encourage creativity through this project.
