Header Design for Legal Blog - one 960px by 236px Image

We're switching over to a Wordpress theme, and we're looking for a catchy header image for the top of our blog. It must be 960px wide by 236px tall, and it must fit well with our new site.

We're looking to portray an image of modern professionalism. I equate this to mean professionalism with a personal touch. We're a law firm that's just stepping into the blogging world, twitter, facebook, etc. So we'd like a professional image, but personable as well.

You can see the current temporary header we're using now (maybe header isn't even the correct term) at the above web address. It's a picture of scales and a gavel, along with our firm name and address on a white background. This is what we're looking to replace with your design.

We're looking to keep our firm name, address, telephone and fax numbers in the design that you create. Just make it look,...well,.....much better.

We would like to try to steer away from cliche lawyer symbols, i.e. scales of justice, lady justice, gavel, etc. and try for something fresh and modern, yet professional.

Naturally your design must work well with the colors on the remainder of the site (primarily grey and white).

Use of pictures is fine, and you can use stock photos, just provide me with a link so I can purchase any necessary pics if stock photos are used.

****As a note, we cannot have a stock photo of another lawyer or lawyers in the header. So no people. Just text and graphics is fine too.

I require the .PSD or source files, not just a JPEG.
