Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a 3 star historic boutique hotel in South Beach Florida. Our customers are somewhat budget travelers but love unique and independent hotels. We are located on an extremely vibrant street called "Espanola Way Historic District". The street is a very popular tourist destination for the architecture, shops and restaurants that line the pedestrian only block.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We need a versatile artistic rendering (with the hotel name and year on the rendering) depicting the flair and personality of our hotel and can be used on several different merchandise types. Our goal is to have an artistic rendering that will change every year, similar to art festival annual renderings. This will be our first year (2015). The merchandise that we will be placing this rendering is as follows: Beach Towels, T-shirts, Hoodies, postcards, key cards, posters etc...
Please visit our website (this site is in the process of an overhaul, just an FYI) http://www.clayhotel.com. Please do not base your interpretation of the hotel on the look of the website rather please look at the photographic images of the architecture and read the history. If you need additional photos please message me and I will be more that happy to provide them to you. The buildings are historic buildings built in 1926. They were built as a block and a half spanish village. Al Capone had resided in the building back in his day and ran a gambling ring out of a few of the buildings. The property has an enormous amount of history. We also have a flamingo at our entrance that we inherited from a city wide artistic contest to fill the streets with artistic flamingos back in the 90's. We kept our Flamingo and it has become somewhat of a mascot for the hotel (everyone takes their picture with it) so you may want to incorporate him.
