Nso1 got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Year of Proof needs a new logo
Check out Nso1's Logo design contest…
The Year of Proof is this year's topic for the University of Pennsylvania's Academic Theme Year. The Theme Year gives all members of the University, including staff, faculty, and students, a chance to collectively explore a topic for the academic year.
Logo types to explore
Our audience includes all constituents of the University of Pennsylvania from 60 year old professors to 18 year old incoming freshmen. We are having so much trouble with this logo because it's difficult to associate an image with the word "Proof." We have been thinking about mathematical equations, the justice scales, Newton's cradle, QED's (the formal ending of a math proof), and magnifying glasses just to name a few. In the logo, we need to incorporate the words "2011-2012" and the image of the Penn Shield, which is attached in many color formats. Also, we are okay with the design being many colors, but it needs to be able to be one color because we will be using it in many publications and other printings.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at €269.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.
