Nycsurer got their new logo design by running a design contest:
WHERE TO GO needs a new logo
Check out Nycsurer's Logo design contest…
I currently have an art book with an agent called WHERE TO GO IN NEW YORK that is nothing more than 150 beautiful photographs of the most iconic, beautiful, intereresting, dreadful, quirky restrooms in New York. We are designing a website to expand the brand that will allow users to submit their own photos of restrooms all over the world and we need a fun clean restroom-themed logo that will go on the website and perhaps on the book.
Logo types to explore
The design should be clean and a bit playful. Perhaps it could have a stylized toilet involved or... perhaps it plays with the thought of graffiti on a restroom wall or... perhaps it incorporates the iconic male / female figures you see on a restroom door (reminiscent of the sign on the office door to THE OFFICE) or ... I don't know if this helps but logos that I like (not related to this project) are the APPLE logo, Fed ex logo, NBC peacock logo, pbs logo, skype logo, london underground, virgin, continental airlines, outback steak house, starbucks. Boy or boy... Not sure if I am helping or hurting but feel free to write me if you need more direction.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at €269.

And then… they selected a winner!
Nailed it right away. We were very impressed and delighted to get this awesome logo. There were some additionally impressive designs submitted later in the contest, many of which copied this one. Well done!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
