Tesera Systems Inc. or simply Tesera Systems
We are looking to update our corporate image to reflect the types of services we are offering. Tesera Systems Inc. began in 1997 as a forestry planning and modeling company. While we've kept somewhat true to our roots, we have diversified by offering services focused in applying information management technologies to environmental and natural resource problems. We work with water planning, carbon planning and offsets, and traditional resource fields (like oil and gas and forestry). We bind a lot of our approaches together with information portals and advanced geomatics (GIS) technologies and web mapping. We apply spatial realism in developing feasible solutions to complex multi-faceted planning problems. We want this aspect of our core business to be reflected in our image.
Our website is http://www.tesera.com. This is also "the old" so don't base too much on it.
We are looking to become recognized as a go-to-service-provider for our existing clients - as well as new clients in emerging fields like carbon offsets and water planning. Our image needs to reflect our approach which blends spatial planning with effective stakeholder communication. Tesera has two meanings which might be useful as well, as follows: (i) four dimensions x,y,z and t (time) reflecting our technologies that incorporate spatial and temporal planning and modeling; and (ii) all of the component pieces that comprise a mosaic, analogous to assembling the many parts of a puzzle in solving complex problems.
It comes down to client recognition and acceptance.
We are looking for a logo representing Tesera Systems Inc.
We would like the corporate image to play off aspect(s) of what we do, (spatial temporal planning and computer (simulation, optimization) modelling of natural resources such as water, carbon, forestry, oil and gas, integrated services consulting). Logo should be contemporary and work well with an overall image concept and website that could be developed as a second project.
1. A technology, web 2.0 look is probably where we'd like to go.
2. The typeface should be clear. We want something that stands out.
3. Color suggestions are desired but we'll provide our existing logo as well (we are looking for new and improved, not the same).
4. Timeless colors are desired.
