Thinc Marketing & Events
Thinc Marketing is a small Aussie Agency that operates a Marketing Consultancy & runs Events. We have two main focus area. The largest by far is running Wine & Food Fairs in the Wine Industry (mainly NSW Australia). We run a number of major events in Sydney throughout the year and also in regional New South Wales.
We also run cycling events in Wine Regions (Mountain bikes) encouraging people to get out and get fit while they enjoy the scenery in our Wine regions.
Thinc is run by a small, young, energetic team who are environmentally conscious. We're not radically green but we care about the planet and the world we'll leave our kids! A percentage of our revenues from ALL projects goes to environmental causes and these have included funding projects to plant trees, reduce water usage in viticulture, and we're currently working on establishing an eco-friendly Koala Sanctuary.
We have a sister company, WineCause which is an online consultancy helping small Winery businesses to effectively manage their websites and we do online Wine sales. See http://www.winecause.com.au . Like Thinc, Winecause donates a percentage of all revenues to environmental causes.
Thinc is called Thinc for 2 reasons: 1) because it makes everybody ask why it's not thin(K) & they remember our name and 2) because it's scalable - we can be Thinc Promotions, Thinc Sports, Thinc ... whatever you like!
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
30 + years old, upper socio-economic, environmentally conscious, well educated, enjoy good food & wine, tech savvy, shop online regularly, probably urban dwellers but into nature and the 'outdoors', experience seekers.
This will flow through to an older audience up to say mid 50's but they will be active and "young at heart".
We need a logo for Thinc Marketing & Events. We will use this across the full spectrum - Web, stationery, signage etc.
The logo needn't be similar to but should work in synergy with the WineCause logo (which looks like a Tree and can be viewed at http://www.winecause.com.au).
This is because WineCause client Wineries might attend Wine & Food Fairs run by Thinc Marketing & Events so it's possible the two logos will regularly appear together.
The logo should reflect the young, positive values and ideals of our company.
The logo does not have to be green (but it certainly could be!)
Would prefer strong, vibrant colours than softer muted tones.
We're open to type-only logos but as you can see from the WineCause logo we'd probably prefer something with an interesting graphic element.
The logo should probably avoid Wine references (grapes, vines, bottles etc.) only because we're open to working in other industries and on all sorts of Events eg: the cycling. We also own a Film Festival for example http://www.mudfest.com.au
