How Brian Schneck started their logo design journey
What is StreamFame?
A cool new way to video chat via Facebook. StreamFame is an app that allows anyone with a Facebook account to either chat via a webcam with anywhere from 1-3 random people, stream live (perform) to any number of people, or just watch up to 1-3 random people as they do either of those two previous options.
Why did we build it?
Because people are sick of Chatroulette – specifically just chatting with one person, all of the naked men, and always having to hit the “next” button. StreamFame gives you the freedom and flexibility to use it how you want: whether it’s to video chat with your friends, have conversations with strangers, play requests on your guitar while 20 people watch, or just sitting back and watching everyone else streaming. With StreamFame, we set it up so that you can use it how you want to.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Targeting both males/females ages 16-34. Initially targeting the high school/college audience.
We are looking for a simple web 2.0 logo - think Youtube, Twitter, Ebay, TinyChat (don't copy tinychat.com's logo though). Facebook would be too simple of a logo. We are looking for something with 1-3 colors, no particular preference on which colors (don't use the facebook blue we used on streamfame.com). But one option would be to use a streaming, or video, or movie, or fame, or webcam theme - maybe no theme. Maybe include a simple image with the logo, maybe not.
The logo should be of StreamFame. We write it as one word.
