Talkie makes next generation online social games. The team is comprised of experienced game designers, coders, and marketers. Our games our unique in two ways. Firstly, they get people talking - literally talking over voice over IP, - e.g. gossiping, flirting, making deals, solving mysteries, trading, collecting, and having bursts of fun. Secondly they are video driven and work in partnership with existing television shows such as reality shows, scripted shows, comedies, etc.
Our games are not about shooting, not about killing, and not about adolescent power fantasies. We are charades, not God of War.
In case you are not aware online "social games" are games that run in social networks such as Facebook and Myspace. Well known social game companies are Zynga, Playdom, Playfish, RockYou, Crowdstar, and MindJolt. Well known social game titles are Farmville, Cafe World, Mafia Wars, Pet Society, Poker, Social City, and Tiki Resort.
Talkie prides itself on:
1) creating engaging play experiences

3) being easy to use
4) appealing to both women and men
5) helping friends stay in touch

We want people to trust Talkie and feel good about spending time with our games.
The target audience for Talkie games are social network users, female and male, ages 26-50.
The demographics for social game players is surprisingly broad. In fact it matches the demographics for CBS and NBC prime time - e.g. 30 Rock, The Office, Two and a Half Men, Amazing Race, etc. The average user of a social game is a 43 year old female.
Users spend a lot of time with social games and thus they will spend a lot of time looking at our logo.
Typeface should be clear and legible when shrunk down.
Okay - but not required - to supplement type with simple illustrations (perhaps evoking people talking or laughing).
Should evoke playfulness, quality, and trust. Inspirational logos include:
NBC, Playfish, Playfirst, The Sims, Naughty Dog, Meteor Games.
Should include the tag line "television meets social games" somehow.
