UPDATE on 12/17/09: I am leaving out of the Country on 12/19 and back on 12/26. I may decide to take this with me on this "vacation" and make a more clear headed decision while at sea rather than in the stress that exists today. I hope that doesn't impose upon or upset anyone; it is my first time using this, and I should have been more sensitive to my schedule in the latter days before leaving on my first vacation in 5 years!
Six Sigma Tennis will market to 7 Segments through 16 Channels:
1. Junior Tennis Players
2. Adult Tennis Players
3. Professional Tennis Players
4. College Tennis Players
5. Senior Tennis Players
6. Wheelchair Tennis Players
7. Adaptive Tennis Players
According to data just released by the Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association (SGMA), tennis is the fastest growing sport in America among individual traditional sports with an increase in participation of 43 percent from 2000 to 2008.
According to the SGMA, tennis was one of only six sports to experience participation growth exceeding 40 percent from 2000 through 2008. Tennis is well ahead of other traditional sports like baseball, ice hockey, gymnastics and football, all of which suffered a decline in participation during the past eight years. In the last year alone, tennis experienced a 9.6 percent growth in participation.
The SGMA study is the latest in a series of reports and studies that have cited the extraordinary growth for tennis. In December, the Taylor Research Group (TRG) reported that tennis participation reached a record high of 27 million players in 2008, more than any other period in the past 15 years. Sales of tennis racquets and balls have both also increased significantly, most notably, an 88% increase in the sale of youth racquets from 2003 through 2008, according to the TRG report.
I would like the current Six Sigma Tennis logo (attached) to become multi-sport (like the one attached), with a center/middle area of the logo that gives a sense of the laser beam focus this new methodology has (like the HAL 9000 attached).
So, very simply I want the 3 attached files combined into one.
I need the 4 Sports (Balls) to be:
Be sure to also look at:
to understand where this is going. This is a SPORTS, ENTERTAINMENT, EDUCATION Project; it doesn't get BIGGER (more visibile) than THIS.
Please leave room in the center area for one of two names (I don't want you to embed it in there until I decide on which one):
Six Sigma Tennis
Thank you very much,
