Simpleology is a very successful brand, with a very bad logo.
I feel that the logo is not iconic enough to really stand out on its own as a world-class recognizable image.
We need to re-brand the company, but still keep a few things constant
1. The tagline will change. New name and tagline are as follows:
simplifying your complicated life
2. The shape of the icon needs to stay the same - we have that shape around too many places to change it.
3. **however** we want to change the shape in a way that will make it more uniquely identifiable *and* perhaps give it some more symbolic meaning (example: not how the firefox logo has a fox in it ... the X-box logo has an x in it ... apple is an apple ... our icon doesn't have any meaning ... can you attach relevant meaning to it without changing the fundamental structure of the shape and general colors?)
The original icon is attached for reference ...
We're going to redesign http://www.simpleology.com around your new logo - but you can see the general placement and use there.
What we'd really like to convey: simplicity, ease, making your day simpler, easier, and less stressful, getting more done ...
**** UPDATE *****
LET'S UP THE ANTE!
Whoever gets picked is going to get mentioned in the simpleology blog *and* that post will be broadcast to our 430,000+ members ...
You think that will get you a little more business?
