How ScoRango started their logo design journey

Who are you known as?

ScoRango

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach

Start-up company selling a variety of products on Amazon. I'll be private labeling specific products and selling them to consumers on the Amazon platform.

While I'll be starting off selling baby products, I plan to sell products in other niches as well (ex: dog products), so I'll need a logo that is generic enough to sell across multiple niches! Which is why I don't want my logo to have a strong focus on "babies".

A little about myself....I'm married and expecting my first child (a son) in September. I love sports (BIGGG CUBS FAN), being outside (grilling, swimming, etc.) & hangin' with family and friends! I love animals, especially dogs and have an amazing Labrador that my wife and I treat like our child! I'm a prankster, love to make people laugh, try not to take much seriously and enjoy every moment of life.

A little about "ScoRango".....While my name is Scott, my friends & wife call me "Sco". My wife still hasn't changed her last name yet (DeRango), so I combined the two - "ScoRango". So the only literal connotation is with our names.

I think it'd be really cool to have an Icon associated to my logo (or even a "badge"), but not sure what yet since my Brand name doesn't directly correlate to any animal or object....Some ideas or thoughts I had are something associated to the Cubs logo or Cubs bear, something related to online shopping, dog/baby mix since I'll be selling both products and love dogs, or something else entirely! I don't want to limit your creativity to just these - I'm sure you creative masterminds will come up with something!

Like how an apple was incorporated into a person for a nice tie-in with the company name

Like how the colors compliment each other very nicely

Simple yet creative

Plane ties in nicely with the name, color combo is nice

Very creative, ties into the company name well, colors represent a calming effect which is good for "sleeping"

Really Love this font and design, but I think the colors could be better & want something added on

Like the calming feel of the logo, the colors, but something feels like it's missing...

Like the background, but don't love the colors.

I love dogs so this is pretty cool and stood out to me, but lends itself more to strictly dog products, and I'll be selling in other categories such as babies. DOn't like the orange color.

Thought the logo was cool, but a little plain

As mentioned before, I like the "badge" look of logos, but maybe having SCO inside vs just SC and a different color scheme?

Shopping theme....not sure I would lie this for my brand though

Love dogs, having a baby and will be selling baby and dog products...may fit product well

Rango was a movie about a Chameleon, but it would need to be "cute" to fit into selling baby products

*Don't want in all Caps - "ScoRango"
**While I'll initially be selling baby products, I don't want my logo to have a picture of a baby or be specific to baby products as I'll be using this brand and logo to sell other categories across Amazon as well (ex: pet supplies). Additionally, I'll probably be looking for a matching website template sometime in the near future if I like what I'm receiving :-)
