christine.e.mcintosh got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Saint Crucian Clothing Co.
Check out christine.e.mcintosh's Logo design contest…
Saint Crucian is a small local t-shirt company. The target audience has nothing to do with age and more to do with those who can identify with the culture of the small community we are in.
I have had someone make a sketch of what I'd like to see the logo be. Originally I thought I wanted something minimalistic but this design speaks more to what the brand is. I like the idea of the rough draft sketch because it looks more modern but I'd like to see designers play with it. I think I'd like to keep it black and white also, but I'm open to seeing color options. I think I'd definitely like the font to be modern and minimal i.e. Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Calvin Klein I would like to see the brand name go around just the top of the plate in an arch. Lastly: I'm open to other design concepts, particularly using vegetation of the islands. Ginger Thomas Flowers, Banana Leaves, Papaya leaves etc. Or Maybe a bowl of island fruits i.e. Breadfruit, Small bananas, Papaya, Mangoes, Sugar Apples, Coconuts etc. Maybe a bowl of fruits with flowers in there too? I"m including pictures of all these images. This is a Caribbean based brand feel free to research any other vegetation that grows in the Caribbean. Or if you feel something completely different please don't hesitate to be creative.
