Bgerk and/or Marc
I'm a 30-something systems developer with a passion for travel, photography, and web 2.0 mashups. I like living in different countries and experiencing new things. I'm a bit of a geek and I love to read.
I love my photography - examples can be found here:

You can see I like pet photography, the outdoors, and portraiture.
No real target audience here - just myself really since this just a vanity project :) Mostly just friends who like looking at my photographs, and perhaps other people looking for an ad-hoc photographer.
I'm after a logo and colour swatch that I can take and use as inspiration to put together a photography site. I started fiddling here:

It's not a logo but I like the continuous run-on feeling of the photos.
My company name is Bgerk and you can choose whether you include that in the logo/logotype, or just "Marc" will do - if you're using my name then an informal font logotype would probably best suit. Probably best to pick one or the other.
If you're wondering - Bgerk (or Bgerk!) is a phonetic of the sound a chicken makes. Bok bok bok bok Bgerk!! Don't ask - long story. I'd imagined perhaps a cartoony chicken as a logo, and maybe using a brown/red/yellow colour scheme. Not sure!
Take a look at my photos - and be creative - I have nothing really specific in mind so go for it.
Oh - I'm also about to undertake a "photo a day" project, here's a link to a quick test project I did this month. Your logo will be used somewhere in the redesign of these pages:
