Goulet needed a new logo design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 61 designs submitted by 18 freelance designers.
ROCK LOCK
Rock Lock (Patent-Pending) was born out of the idea that there are currently no products designed to secure Musical Instruments from being stolen. We provide Musicians an opportunity to have peace of mind while away from their instruments.
Our Target Market is the entire Guitarist and Bassist Culture. This includes any one who owns a guitar, as well as retail music stores. Age Wise this ranges from under 18 to 65+. Our target market is also 95% male.
-Rock Lock must be side by side, do not stack the words.
-Simplicity
-The Logo must convey a sense of security and have a strong, sturdy feel
-No flourescent colors. Please use silver, red, black, or dark ocean blue for one base color.
-We chose to name the product Rock Lock for a double play on the word Rock. In our marketing efforts we are attempting to not lend the word Rock to the sense of 'Rock n Roll', but more towards solid as a rock, since it is a Locking Device.
-Any subtle references or hints towards guitars would be nice, but are not required.
-Any creative Incorporation of the attached file would be nice, but is not required.
