rawpoll.com
I'm making a website that handles political polling - getting peoples opinions on politics. I'm hoping for it to be a hub for intellectual debate. I'm a 26-year old web programmer trying to shoot-the-moon with my own project for the first time after working for huge clients for a good 8 years.
The target audience would be an average American citizen with an interest in politics (I guess that wouldn't make them very average, would it?) ;). It should convey esteem, but not be too drab and serious as I am hoping to pique the interest of the younger generation.
Logo should include the name 'rawpoll' or 'rawpoll.com' - I am open to capitalization ideas and color schemes. Patriotic red, white, and blue colors are welcome but not necessary.
The tagline for the site is 'reawaken democracy', which contains the letters 'raw' in the first four letters, so if there is a tasteful way to draw attention to the 'raw' letters, like, a different color, or size or something, without making it look awful, it would be ideal.
This site will include heavy integration with facebook, if that influences your design idea at all.
I am open for ideas on any type of logo/clip art accompanying the text. So it should include:
'rawpoll' or 'rawpoll.com' above the tagline:
'reawakening democracy' with special attention paid to the 'raw' in 'reawakening'
And any art/graphics that are relevant to your design idea.
Let me know if you have any questions!
